PiLab is one of Korea's longest-standing blockchain companies (Series A, ₩14B raised), operating Bifrost Network — an L1 — alongside the BiFi DeFi protocol. I came in as CSO with full executive authority, reporting to the CEO, into a company with no HR function, no BD team and no defined culture.

Bifrost needed a front door. I conceived Pockie, a self-custody wallet spanning iOS, Android and a Chrome extension, and carried it from concept to store launch. It is currently rated 4.7 out of 5 on the app stores.

Alongside the wallet, I designed and iterated the token economics for BFC and BiFi, introducing new utility mechanisms and use cases, and rebranded the entire lineup — visual identity, positioning and go-to-market framing.

조직 구축

You cannot ship a multiplatform wallet without engineers, and you cannot hire engineers without an HR function. Over two years I hired 6+ people including two manager-level roles, establishing HR, BD and FE/BE engineering from scratch. I authored company-wide guidelines and instated a culture of transparent communication across a 10-person org spanning HR, marketing, BD and design.

개발자 없이 멀티플랫폼 지갑을 만들 수 없고, HR 기능 없이 개발자를 채용할 수 없습니다. 2년간 매니저급 2명을 포함해 6명 이상을 채용하며 HR, BD, FE/BE 개발 조직을 처음부터 세웠습니다. 전사 가이드라인을 작성하고 HR·마케팅·BD·디자인을 아우르는 10인 조직에 투명한 소통 문화를 정착시켰습니다.
